Instrument Operator Training
Listed Under Operator TrainingGenTech offers in-depth training at your site or at our headquarters on TSQ, LCQ, Ion Trap, and GCQ Systems.
What type of training does GenTech provide?
GenTech’s expert service engineers will thoroughly train your operators on how to run the equipment. A number of our engineers hold degrees in chemistry and previously held jobs in laboratories, so they know what an analytical lab needs to get the job done.
For which instruments does GenTech train?
GenTech’s service engineers are qualified to train operators on TSQ, LCQ, Ion Trap, and GCQ mass specs, as well as on HP, Varian, Finnigan, Perkin-Elmer, and Waters chromatography systems.
Where does training take place?
One of our service engineers can set up a training course in your laboratory, or you can be trained at our own facility. GenTech is within one hour of Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park, Allegany State Park, Buffalo, and Rochester, so plan to spend a few days! GenTech is located in scenic Arcade, NY, which is home to one of the country’s few operating steam locomotives.
Do you offer phone support?
Absolutely! We offer free lifetime phone support on any instrument purchased through GenTech Scientific.
What is the scope of training I would receive?
GenTech tailors the training to meet your needs. We have chemists with over 40 combined years of experience who can cover applications, in addition to instrument training.
How much does training cost?
GenTech realizes that you can never get enough training, so we charge accordingly. Most of our courses run between only $800 and $1,500 per day, depending on the instrument and training location.
