This Dual Wavelength FPD Detector utilizes photomultipliers, proprietary deactivation treatments, and other design enhancements to help its lower MDL's when used in sulfur or phosphorous modes. The FPD uses three gases: air and hydrogen to support the flame, and nitrogen makeup for capillary columns. The flow rates are critical for optimizing performance.
