Agilent 5975C VL MSD with 6890 GC

The 5975C VL MSD is an economical, small-footprint system for routine analyses. The modular mass analyzer incorporates a solid inert ion source, a proprietary quartz quadrupole analyzer and a new higher signal to noise Triple-Axis Detector. This powerful combination provides better MS resolution, exceptional spectral integrity and lower limits of detection—for the highest confidence in your results. New Trace Ion Detection technology provides even more capabilities at trace level.

Its Triple-Axis Detector uses a unique geometry and an improved electron multiplier design to provide users with several practical advantages, including higher signal intensity, substantially reduced neutral noise and increased detector lifetime. Advanced analysis routines let you get more information from every run, and the latest version of Agilent's GC/MSD ChemStation software provides higher quality analyses with even less operator time and attention.

The Agilent/HP 6890 series GC features electronic pneumatic control of all gas pressures and flows. On board sensors automatically compensate for ambient temperature changes and barometric pressure differences to routinely achieve more accurate and reproducible results. By providing stable results, EPC reduces re-calibration frequency and improves laboratory productivity.
