Standard Warranty (90 Day, 1 Year) - This is the standard warranty that covers parts, labor, travel or shipping for repair. Most refurbished instruments are covered under this warranty. This warranty does not cover consumables. Service and preventative maintenance contracts are available separately.
Parts-Only Warranty - GenTech will cover the parts (and shipping of the parts) necessary to repair the customer's instrument. All bad and unused parts are to be returned to GenTech. This warranty does not cover consumables.
In-House Repair Warranty - GenTech will cover the cost of labor and parts to repair the instrument at GenTech's facility. The customer is responsible for shipping of the equipment to and from GenTech. Consumables are not covered under this warranty. This is meant for equipment that travels well, is easy to pack and ship to GenTech such as GCs, MSDs, Autosamplers, HPLCs, etc. This warranty is available to domestic and foreign customers. Re-installation of system, if requested is an additional charge. This warranty does not cover consumables.
Labor and Travel Warranty - GenTech covers the cost of labor and travel to repair the affected instrument. The customer is responsible for purchasing ALL parts necessary for repair of the instrument. This warranty does not cover consumables.
Extended Warranty - An extended warranty will continue your coverage up to 5 years. GenTech has the experience and the tools to ensure your instruments are running as they should be. Extended warranties are available on most instruments, although some exclusions apply. This warranty does not cover consumables.
Our warranty policy is designed to keep your instrument in working order. GenTech will get you started in the right direction by correctly installing the instrument. The maintenance standards for the instrument will be outlined and all questions will be fully explained.
