The baffled cyclonic spray chamber features a central transfer tube that functions as a secondary particle separator, effectively removing larger aerosol particles from the sample. This design reduces the solvent load in the plasma while maintaining detection limits.
The precise spacing between the bottom of the baffle and the chamber wall prevents droplet formation on the baffle’s underside, ensuring smooth drainage and enhanced precision.
