What you are buying
An Agilent G1513A injection tower. It draws each sample from its turret position and injects it onto the GC inlet, controlled through a separate controller module rather than a built-in CAN bus connection.
Every unit moves through the GenTech Certified process. What Agilent says about this platform
The G1513A is a 7673C automatic liquid sampler injector tower built for the HP 5890A, 5890 Series II, and 6890A gas chromatographs. It requires a separate controller, an 18594A, 18594B, or G1512A, depending on the configuration. The injector houses the syringe, a syringe carriage, a turret, a cooling fan the operator can disable, parameter switches, and a last-sample-vial switch. Available turrets carry 1, 3, 6, or 8 sample positions. An optional 100-vial tray adds sampling capacity beyond the standard turret. The tower mounts directly on the GC and transfers quickly between GC systems. It communicates over HPIB and INET.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
