A refurbished Agilent 1200 Series G1311A quaternary pump. It blends up to four solvents into a low-pulse gradient.
Every unit moves through the GenTech Certified process. What Agilent says about this platform
Agilent built the G1311A around a dual-plunger in-series pump with a servo-controlled variable stroke drive, floating plungers, and an active inlet valve. The pump sets flow from 0.001 to 10 mL/min in 0.001 mL/min increments, with a practical operating range of 0.2 to 10 mL/min. Flow precision holds to 0.07 percent RSD or 0.02 minutes standard deviation, whichever is greater, at constant room temperature, with flow accuracy within 1 percent or 10 microliters per minute. Maximum pressure runs to 400 bar at flows to 5 mL/min, dropping to 200 bar at flows to 10 mL/min. Pressure pulsation stays under 2 percent amplitude, typically under 1 percent, at 1 mL/min of isopropanol above 10 bar. Gradient delay volume runs 800 to 1,100 microliters depending on back pressure. The pump covers a recommended pH range of 1.0 to 12.5, with the caveat that solvents above pH 2.3 should avoid acids that attack stainless steel. Stainless steel, titanium, gold, ruby, sapphire, ceramics, PEEK, and PTFE make up the wetted parts. A handheld controller, Instant Pilot, or Agilent data system runs the pump, communicating over CAN, GPIB, RS-232C, and APG Remote.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
