What you are buying
A refurbished Agilent 1260 Infinity G1310B isocratic pump, with CAN cable and warranty. It delivers a single-solvent mobile phase to the column at constant, reproducible flow, rated to a higher pressure than the earlier G1310A.
Every unit moves through the GenTech Certified process. Solution Scientists disassemble and inspect each module, replace all consumables and degraded wear components, then tune and calibrate the instrument and verify performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals. The instrument ships with its verification report. A certified-refurbished system gives you that performance without the capital cost or the lead time of a new purchase.
What Agilent says about this platform
Agilent designed the 1260 Infinity Isocratic Pump to serve as the reliable workhorse for routine QA/QC applications, teaching environments, and robust industrial testing. Agilent highlights this module for its dual-floating piston architecture, which automatically balances pump stroke cycles to maintain exceptionally smooth, pulse-free solvent flow. Incorporating advanced electronics and a variable stroke drive, the G1310B effortlessly handles pressures up to 600 bar, opening the door to modern, narrow-bore columns and small particle sizes. It stands as a highly economical, low-maintenance pump configuration built to deliver long-term retention time reproducibility within standard analytical workflows.
What this module does
Isocratic pumping
Rather than a complex gradient blender, the Agilent G1310B is a dedicated, high-pressure single-solvent delivery module within a High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) stack. Positioned at the beginning of the hydraulic flow path, its primary job is to draw a single mobile phase composition and push it through the system at a completely uniform velocity. This process executes several critical system-wide functions:
- Pulse-Free Fluidic Precision: It utilizes a micro-processor controlled dual-piston design to eliminate flow pulsations, ensuring a highly stable baseline on downstream optical detectors.
- Modern High-Pressure Support: It delivers precise flow control at pressures up to 600 bar, allowing laboratories to step up from legacy 400-bar methods to faster, higher-resolution analytical columns.
- Purge Valve Automation: It features a convenient manual prime and purge configuration that simplifies solvent exchanges and system flushes during routine maintenance cycles.
- Broad Flow Rate Flexibility: It supports a wide operating range from 0.001 mL/min up to 10.0 mL/min, accommodating everything from specialized capillary techniques to standard analytical columns.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same specific stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
Labs that run this system
The 1260 HPLC is method-compatible across the techniques most regulated and research labs run every day. These are the application areas buyers ask about most.
Routine Compendial QA/QC Screenings
Pharma manufacturing facilities rely on the G1310B for high-volume, repetitive release testing of established drug formulations. The simple isocratic flow path guarantees reproducible retention times for straightforward compendial methods.
Consistent Standard Target Ion and Anion Assays
Environmental testing facilities deploy the G1310B to monitor specific inorganic ions or target pesticides in municipal water systems. Constant single-solvent composition minimizes operational complexity during dedicated, high-throughput daily workflows.
Dedicated Sugar and Organic Acid Analysis
Food testing labs use this isocratic system for high-volume determinations of sucrose, fructose, or organic acids in consumer products. The single-solvent operation cuts downtime, keeping dedicated food quality assembly lines moving efficiently.
Economical Single-Target Potency Screening
Boutique cannabis testing labs utilize the G1310B to run dedicated, cost-effective potency assays targeting specific primary cannabinoids. Simple isocratic mobile phase steps lower daily solvent costs while maintaining excellent peak reproducibility.
High-Throughput Bulk Compound Verification
Crime laboratories deploy this robust pump module to rapidly verify bulk chemical identities in seized materials. Eliminating gradient re-equilibration delays maximizes sample throughput when executing high-density chemical screening queues.
