What you are buying
A refurbished Agilent G2880A automatic liquid sampler. It draws each sample from its vial and delivers it to the 6850 GC inlet. It runs unattended sequences from a 27-vial or 22-vial turret.
Every unit moves through the GenTech Certified process. Solution Scientists disassemble and inspect each module, replace all consumables and degraded wear components, then tune and calibrate the instrument and verify performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals. The instrument ships with its verification report. A certified-refurbished system gives you that performance without the capital cost or the lead time of a new purchase.
What Agilent says about this platform
Agilent built the G2880A as an injector module with a sample vial turret that mounts directly onto the 6850 GC. The standard turret holds 27 2-mL vials; an optional turret holds 22 4-mL vials. Either turret carries up to two bottles each of two solvent types and three bottles for waste. Agilent’s G2629A Control Module, Cerity NDS, or ChemStation all run the sampler; Cerity NDS and ChemStation add random-order vial analysis, while the Control Module runs vials in the loaded order. The G2880A requires a 6850 GC on firmware A.03.xx or later. Its modular design lets a lab move the sampler to another 6850 GC without a rebuild.

Liquid injection
Injects liquid samples onto the 6850 GC inlet, drawing each sample from its vial and delivering it with the same needle stroke every time.
Automated sequencing
Runs unattended sequences from the loaded turret, in vial order or random order depending on the control software.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
