What you are buying
A starter kit covering the fittings, tubing, filters, and tools most HPLC systems need on hand for routine plumbing and maintenance. PEEK and Teflon tubing in several diameters, connectors, elbows, and inlet and sparge filters cover most common repairs and reconfigurations without a separate order for each part.
Every unit moves through the GenTech Certified process. Solution Scientists disassemble and inspect each module, replace all consumables and degraded wear components, then tune and calibrate the instrument and verify performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals. The instrument ships with its verification report. A certified-refurbished system gives you that performance without the capital cost or the lead time of a new purchase.

PEEK tubing resists most HPLC solvents and handles routine plumbing between modules; the three included diameters (0.005, 0.007, and 0.010 inch ID) cover low-, standard-, and higher-flow connections on a typical analytical system. Teflon tubing in two larger diameters handles waste and drain lines, where chemical resistance matters more than pressure rating. PEEK unions, elbows, and connectors let a technician reroute or repair a line without cutting a new fitting from stock. A dedicated tubing cutter and spare blade keep cut ends flat, which matters for a leak-free seal at each fitting. The Valvtool wrench and open-end wrench cover the two most common fastener sizes on injection valves and fittings. A 2-micron sparge filter and a 10-micron inlet filter protect the pump and column from particulates in the mobile phase and sample.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
